Before washing

Turn the Jersey Inside Out

Closing zippers, separating rough garments and turning the shirt inside out helps reduce abrasion on names, numbers, crests and sponsor details.

• Separate dark and light colors.
• Do not wash with hooks or rough hardware.
• Check the care label.

Water and cycle

Use Cool Water and a Gentle Cycle

High heat and aggressive washing can damage lightweight fabrics and heat-applied decoration. Use mild detergent and avoid bleach.

Drying

Air Dry Away from Strong Heat

Lay flat or hang carefully in shade. Avoid high-temperature tumble drying, radiators and direct heat on printed areas.

• Do not wring the jersey.
• Do not dry on a hot radiator.
• Keep printed surfaces from sticking together.

Ironing

Never Iron Directly on Printing

If ironing is permitted, turn the jersey inside out and use low heat. Place a protective cloth between the iron and any printed area.
